Fathers Day, Sept 2015

Cubs were delighted to discover their Dads can crawl around the floor and muck around with the best of them.

In the April school holidays the Scouts went on a 3 night camp to Ingar Campground.  Ingar Campground is in the Blue Mountains, near Wentworth Falls, about 1.5 hours west of Sydney.

The Scouts had a great time, exploring in the bush, swimming in the (rather cold) waterhole, doing some badge work, and hanging out at the campsite.  The Scouts put their cooking skills to good use and cooked up some tasty meals!

Facilities were basic - pit toilets, no showers and no running water.  Lucky the waterhole was there!

Sometimes getting away is a bit hard so the solution is to camp right in your Scout Hall. The Cubs had a piratical time in the bush, hall, and our lovely backyard. Better still the leaders got right into the act. How does that knot go??
