Looking for a space for your next event? "Gumbarie" — the 1st East Ryde Scout Hall — is a versatile, affordable venue right in the heart of North Ryde, with room for up to 80 guests, a full kitchen, and a wide open parkland next door.
What's included
Your hire includes tables and chairs for up to 80 people, a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, hot water urns, and drink coolers), wheelchair-access ramps on request, and direct access to a large open parkland — perfect if you've got kids who need room to move.
Pricing
- Casual hire — $60 per hour (minimum $150)
- Large family functions — price on application
- Gas BBQ — $20 extra
- Data projector — $75 extra
Scout Group families receive a discount. Get in touch to discuss your event.
Good to know
A couple of things to be aware of: the hall can't be hired to minors, noise restrictions apply in the evening, and our jumping castle is reserved for Scout activities only (you're welcome to bring your own).
